Subsidized Housing

The Affordable Housing Program is a result of the Federal/Provincial Affordable Housing Agreement signed on May 30, 2002. The new Affordable Housing Program will stimulate the construction of affordable housing in Ontario.

The majority of units will be distributed under the Community Rental Housing funding component of the program, which is the main component to be launched under the Affordable Housing Program.

Funding will also be available through the Remote or the Homeownership funding components of the program.
